Oh man, where do I start. First warrior I've played in forever. I'm sure it showed. I killed and as my ratio shows, died a bit more. Coming from a mage class biased player, I thoroughly enjoyed the revamped warrior class. Legacies add so many different dimensions to a character, it's unbelievable. I'm so tempted to do it again.

On Minotaurs: Great race. Goring was cool until you started getting ganked by that hunted/nexas/scion gang and you started goring. Not good times. The speech thing was funny. Most of the times I had to keep my comments and remarks to five words or less. Anything more and people got confused. One idea I'd like to see implemented is the minotaur abilty to understand one another. Damn, when other minotaurs, Rhegma included, spoke to me, I had a hell of a time understanding them. Thanks to whichever IMM gave speech lessons to the Big D.

Rhegma: Wish I had more con left. I would have loved to RP the rites with you and Karakan someday. Thanks for the IMMteraction and your blessings. I loved when you smited that smug warlock after they were mocking my speech.

On Battle: So many names, so little brain cells. Thanks Intronan for the induction. It was a really big moral blow to the village (at least for me) when you walked away. I'm hoping your departure was more to the effect with the heavens having other things in store for you rather than the gecho about the village letting you down. Kastellyn, I could always tell when you took control of the Big D. Your/his comments were hilarious. You were always eager to share battle insight/philosophy as well. Thror, you don't know how happy I was when you allowed us to declare War on the Grove. It sure spiced up cabal politics while leveling out the Warder/Rager dominance at the time. Morts...Grogim, you're a great leader when you're around. I saw you pretty often, but I think most of the other villagers didn't. Still, the times you're on, you get your sh*t done. Good work. Yogor, one of my best buds. We had Mrenya shaking in her paw wraps everytime we were on, right? Trylartin, my other best bud. Going to miss running round with you in the early twilight hours when all's quiet. We had some good times. Rhomelanthos, you're just plain sick. Rank 37 distended into a giant hero xp range and still killing hero range pk's. Sick I tell you. I feel bad for those poor magi when you slipped back down after I helped you rank. Gre, Sabiene, Melkorath, Sayangu, Senimar and the multitude of others I'm forgetting. Keep up the good fight!

On Warlock: Fun fighting you guys. Jhard, your shark is mean as hell. You tooled me on the water, except for that one time where I got lucky and used Trylartin as a meat shield while I beat you down. Delmuio, you got balls. You'd defend regardless of numbers. Good show.

On Nexus: Definately worthy opponents. Great battles. Erinphalis, you're making a difference.

On Scion: Man, I hated every last full looting one of you. Good show. Perfect way to play an evil.

On Warder: That night the village declared War on the Grove was perhaps one of the best times I've had on the MUD. People died left and right. Gear was being swapped back and forth it was hard to tell whose it was originally. That kind of atmosphere is fun, where you don't if you lose that perfect set, you just go in there guns blazing. Griimbling, I'm going to miss killing ugruks with you. (Had to get in one last cheap shot.)

This is getting long, so I'll wrap it up. Later.

Ckroeg

Nice job with the charactor. Hell, I had to bug you a bit. ALmost makes me want to roll up a minotaur...if only one would free up to let me. I liked watching you fight with this and other charactors.

Likewise man, was good knowing you were around and I could count on at least one person who would take Wrenn for me (and always finish first ) And that time when you told me the secret for that one area and dumb Yogor took a while to catch on, funny funny minotaur speech. Good job and very proud one of my pre-cabal buds died like a 'rager. See you in the fields.

Remember that time you got wanted in Galadon for attacking me, and I ran to Hamsah and you chased me? I was surprised that you came into the city, knowing you'd run into those nasty nasty guards, but was even more surprised when I jumped in to try and help them finish you off when you managed to finish me off just moments before they got you!

I sure was kicking myself after that, but hey, good job.

Though I enjoyed fighting you and wished you had a bit little con left. If you knew Griimbling and where he came from you would understand why he traveled with you when he was young. So when you started the jabbing at me with the ugruk thing it did little but amuse me. My point being is you really think a character is born into the world believing, hey the drow are a defiler..The minotaur are defilers..Perhaps, just perhaps they have to witness them for themselves. Especially if they never seen one before. *wink* *wink*.
All in all it was a blast..

God damned it. I log on to find that the village doesnt have the head and its going to be tough getting it back solo with these odds. I read my notes and suddenly my world just gets screwed over....

Man. God damnit. You were and still are my best bud. And considering I live in Australia it means that my late evenings are your early mornings so we always had a nice space of a few hours of 'quiet' time. Man you were a champ. Our raids just us two raiding all cabals soooo easily and then those regearing times. Oh the fun at high lords.

The village will be a quiet and desolate place without you buddy. You were on of the villagers who I both was friends with and really looked up to. Shame you con died. But dont worry im not far behind.

Man a shame. A damned shame is all I can say.

Trylartin, your buddy of the wee hours.

You were definately that! You fought through the tough times when your the only guy around and you foguth just as hard when it wasn't the case. Nice character, speech was a a struggle to begin with but I felt almost fluent by the end of your life. Between my accent and your speech its a wonder we got anything done but in raids we just seemed to know our respective roles. Minotaurs definately fight well, I was dubious as to how well but you showed me with and without haste. I often get angry about not managing to see all of my villagers but when the ones I do see regularly are stout and have hearts the size of Oxen, no pun intended, it brings a glow to an old dwarves nose. Come back to the village soon.

I think the comments below pretty much sum it all up. You did a really good job as a Villager. When I saw Sabiene's note, all I could think was 'Crap. His con was that low? Curses!' It really sucks to lose a Villager who knew what he was doing, and enjoyed doing it.

I think the best comment I ever heard you make was the one about Iell. After the five minutes it took for me to translate, I thought to myself, 'Damn, this guy really gets the whole minotaur thing.' I think Rhegma saw that in you as well.

I love the mino-speech. Every Cabal should have a minotaur in it, if just for that simple reason.

Well played, and good luck on your next character!

Definitly one of my favorite ragers, and one I wanted by my side when I hero. Had no idea you were that low on con... Anyways, great job and you really made me wanna play a minotaur. And good luck with your next one, hope it's a rager. Oh yeah, thanks for the help...

PS. The rites you mentioned with Rhegma, did you get to impregnate? :p

After watching the minotaurs that are out there, you stood out among them. There were several times when I saw you wade into battle and I thought it was really going to be ugly for you, but you did it anyway. But that is what you do when you're a sphere war minotaur!

As far as your CON goes, I was tempted to quest you for more but I couldn't tell if that was of interest to you or not. Sometimes it is rough being on the ground floor... here we are without an official church, etc... but you were entertaining to watch and I'm glad to hear it was fun for you too.

Ack... great interacting with you, but I was hoping to call on you more when the rituals and sacred grounds were ready. Your loss will be sorely felt among our race.

You're right about the speech thing. The only thing more frustrating when talking to a minotaur, is having 2 minotaurs trying to carry on a detailed conversation.

I loved fighting by your side and hated trying to figure out what the hell you were saying. I think I must have been dumbest person when it came to figuring out what minotaurs are saying, and I showed it, heh. The worst is when you would refer to individuals by their names, and I had to literally sit there and pick through the who trying to figure out who the hell you were talking about. Some peoples' names were already tough to read, and when you throw mino-tard(tm) speak on top, I was completely lost.

Great character and you warred with the best of them. I hope Gre didn't piss you off too much, tends to do that with his attitude. Take care and stop back in the village for another warrior legacy visit. I know first hand how addictive the legacy system is.

You had balls, and were always willing to take the fight to someone, what one would expect from a minotaur villager, especially one sphere war. Good job on the character in whole and good luck with the next.
Oh and I still have no idea about half of what you said, heh.

One of the few I always enjoyed having about. If not for the challenge of understanding your speech then just to see someone who appeared to be having fun with their character even in bad times. I am in the bad times myself and I have trouble having fun with it, so I envied your seeming effortless ability to dust yourself off and smile.

Good luck and all that.

HORNBOY YOR A FOOL

Your character was prominent enough that im about 90% sure a imm would have given you a full con restore quest.

I hated trying to understand you but I knew there was a player behind all of that so I played along. You and I were a few who played weird times and now and again we actually overlaped. You were lucky enough to have imms about to congratulate you etc when you were playing against massive odds hehe.

With that sorta taste for battle I know the village shall be in good hands for a long time to come.

It's a rough thing to be the only Rager around with lots of enemies, especially if you're a warrior and don't have the head. I saw you on in that situation all the damn time.

Much respect for sticking in there and not losing heart.

Every once in a while there's a rager that sticks out as someone I like. You were the one from your age of villagers. You wouldn't loot, you would fight me fairly. And most of all I liked your attitude. I could have kicked myself for dying to you on eastern the last time you killed me, but I felt like an ass fighting you all with uneven odds, so I felt I owed you a fair fight. Well done. Well done indeed.
