It wasn't real rage for the delete. I just felt like I'd done enough with the character and was getting a little bored with it. I don't play Outlanders or shifters much so was experimenting with air/offense/outlander.
Overall it was a lot of fun. Jaguar seemed cool. I think there is some sort of creep bug going on though. Most enemies were really cool, especially the Tribunals compared to what I had expected based on my last Outlander attempt. Most Outlanders were also really fun to play with, except for 2.
My biggest form complaint would be the wasp neurotoxin. The paralysis is nearly useless. Most people unfreeze in less than a tick. Sometimes it was less than 2 rounds or exactly 2 rounds. I even had the edge to make it better. Wasp has other things going for it, but I think it could use a little more buffing, especially if you compare the hold to something like what you get from the catoplebeus or whatever stares at your and freezes you, or transmuter neuro.
One RP thing that made the character less fun was the Outlander that barely kept the minimum of RP standards. Several comments were just about game mechanics with no attempt to disguise it. It seemed like you were trying to do just enough to not go to the ROTD and didn't really care. That's fine. I play mostly for PK. But a little effort would make you much more fun to be around.
There was also one looting incident that ruined my opinion of several characters. Veydroth died to Draynil at the Vanquisher while we were both trying to retrieve and I was mid level. I took the hide of an ancient red dragon from his corpse. I thought I might use it. I actually decided I liked what I was wearing better and probably would have just dropped it, if it weren't for the immediate complaining. Four heroes essentially broke character over it.
1) Draynil: immediately tells Veydroth what I did and says 'I didn't even know you could bypass that'
2) Veydroth: starts complaining before he even gets back to his corpse and then proceeds to complain to others about what I've done.
3) Active: tries to bribe me into giving back the hide even though they hate magic and I am a mage
4) Active: another outlander trying really hard to convince me to give back the hide and then saying that I don't talk enough like a saurian
It's really hard to take a character seriously that gets involved with at best borderline OOC talk over a mage looting one item, that might be useful, from the leader of a cabal that hunts mages. The proud warrior quickly started to sound like a crying little kid and so did the other three.
On the saurian speech, I don't think it should be required to add s to words that end in s. I also think if saurians are smarter than storm giants, it is okay for them to speak common dialect. I also think other ways are fine, but if it's not in the helpfile, it shouldn't be expected.
I didn't mean to turn this into a long complaining post, but I felt like this character was around some of the worst RP I've seen in a long time.
