You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

You were a joy. Didn't realize you were about to con die. Was planning to express some "lessons" next time, meaning some tips.

I absolutely loved the attitude, and looked forward to each bout. The second to last one, I think, was actually pretty close, compared to the others. I hope you learned a lot with this guy. If nothing else, you never used barrier and that would have made a huge difference.

GLWYN! (Try a villager!)

It was a wild ride. Was one of those characters I made on a whim and my very first mage / my second character ever on the mud but I became very invested and now it feels real to let him go. I started mudding on a game where the pvp culture largely lacked the ambush nature that Cf has so I really enjoyed our spars too. All nice, neat, well organized and nothing below the belt. My very first char was an attempted villager but I could never find a mage so I decided my second might as well provide the mage and will definitely try muter again. I can see why a lot of people go for elf over gnome or svirf but having fought and seen elf muters fight second hand, they're really missing out on the big ahem, stick that we little guys are packing.

Thanks again for the fun and you even made in some of my role entries.
