You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Tamurah was all about joyfulness, and so in that spirit I will keep this positive aside to say that I lost the ability to maintain that joy. I created Tamurah with the sole intent of applying to join the immortal staff, but some time back in October realized I would not be a good fit there, and so abandoned the plan. But I was still enjoying the character enough to continue, largely thanks to some of my friends.

Phili, you were always a pleasure to interact with, I was so grateful to have met you early in the character and to have connected strongly. I felt like we drifted a bit apart over time, but that happens. You are awesome.

Winya, I wish we had gotten to spend more time together. I really liked the times when you were around more. That routine you did with your bear and wolf was absolutely spectacular, as well. Since I played Pititti, it was a neat connection to the past for me to have you around, and to see how your character has grown from the beginning.

Raveghna, you were one of my favorite characters with a couple of my previous characters, and it was interesting to get a different view of you as a Herald. I respect how consistent you are with the character, and it is obvious the player behind the character is intelligent and creative. Yes, we had conflict, but that's all in character. Out of character, I still think you are amazing.

Rhanie, I heard you became high herald, though I never logged in again to see that. Congratulations! I just didn't have it in me anymore, so sorry about that.

Rarywey, of course as always you are my favorite. I hope life isn't stressing you too badly, and just know that what you add to the game is so, so appreciated. Your intelligence and wit and immersive story-telling is just everything I crave in this game and everything I aspire to be when I play it myself.

Thank you to those who attended my play, it was a lot of work and stress for me to do so I appreciate that it was mostly well received IC at least. I had always planned to do another, but kept talking myself in circles about it and then it just never happened.

This is goodbye from me for a while. I gave myself 30 days here to see if I would feel like logging in, and I clearly never did. Maybe an amazing character idea will hit me at some point and I will try it, but until then I wish you all well. Bye bye!

You were amazing, and I hoped it wouldn't come to this, but I checked the graveyard every day, because I kinda figured it was. Gonna miss you terribly.

You have deep and involved characters that always make the experience richer.

I'm surprised to hear you say that about staff. As a third party observer, you seem kinda cut out for it. In a good way.
