I think playing a Warden in Outlander is a real challenge that obviously most people do not take on, and seems to pretty much universally get criticized. It can be hard to navigate.

I appreciated that you were always willing to take risks. I knew that you were a newish player and I did my best to encourage you and give you cool things as I was able. Everyone should get to run around with Blademaster Gloves for a while.

Thanks for the times Outland gang. Myst, Feratil, Icaeos, you guys are great. Ruvende, love your RP. Same goes for Gnobflink, Xzelyx, and many others I can't recall off the top of my head (an unfortunate side effect of the aforementioned weed).

NeoShifter's other comments aside, this was indeed a pretty bare bones character I couldn't find the groove for. And being a good aligned Outlander, new to both most warrior mechanics and the cabal itself, was a little rough. I did get a little stunlocked with elf healers stapled to an evil minotaur's ass to hunt me (I was unwarranted), and good aligned assassins lawyering about whether or not a poison dart should be considered an attack (Garfin sure did!). If you act evil, Garfin was going to treat you as evil, simple as that.

As a newer player I think if there was one thing I would change about the MUD it wouldn't be any mechanic per se; it'd be the amount of ####ing RP checking that everyone does, particularly around alignments / races. I know you've played the game for decades longer than me. That doesn't mean that your chaotic evil necromancer from bum#### gets to dictate a storm giant Outlander's behavior. For a lot of folks it seems like alignment is just a mechanic to benefit from or work around. "I know I did this plainly evil / conniving ####, but you're a storm giant so you can't attack me!" Hard disagree. There's this 'aura' meta that just ain't my cup of tea.

At any rate, Garfin tried to give everyone a chance and most of his actions were dictated on his view as a backwater fisherman who was bumbling around trying to be helpful, and whatever actions he witnessed from those interacted with. Sorry / not sorry if you didn't like him, thought he was a noob, or whatever.
