Elves are alright for the most part, youd be better I think with a neutral char that just doesnt give a sh1t. That way you can kill everyone, and won't be so restricted. Ya, was fun. As for the trip, well, was debating deleting for awhile, just wasn't having fun with this character. Figured I'd take that trip to hell, then maybe delete afterwards or maybe it would pique my interest. But with my exile from the sylvans and problems with dariana, I didn't think the trip was worth trying, and had no interest in sitting around doing even less then I was before. *shrug* Stay alive for another week or two and I'm sure we'll meet...although on opposite sides once again.

Well, my first good character since a paladin back a while before empowerment. It has it's good points, mostly however it just doesn't suit me. I think choosing an invoker was rather a bad choice as well, was still in attack mode rather then just being smart, dying alot to stupid moves and pure frustration. How I got 36%, I have no clue what so ever. One thing for certain, I will never play an elf again, just entirely too frail, even beyond the mage thing, especially when you consider, what evil character does NOT wield an iron axe, sword or whatever? Anyways...

Sylvan: Enjoyed it for the most part, never even tried to get into this cabal before, was an interesting experience, although I don't think I will again. In case no one noticed, patience is not my strong suit. For the most part, would have been nice to have spent more time with most of you, I think Plyate is only one I talked with overly much, the rest I just hunted with once in awhile or something. To Uller and Sebeok, got the feeling you were trying to start something with me, just to frustrated overall with my character to interact overly much with anyone else. As for my "dismissal"...well, a shame, but if you want to move forward Plyate, once in awhile a sacrafice is needed, personal or otherwise.

Fortress: Eh...pretty much felt the same way as when I was Daemelin, a couple to respect, alot to just shake your head and wonder at. Bessian, Kalin, Varrick, Grunkenheim, was a blast.

Scions: Former allies turned enemies, was interesting fighting you all. Sorry I wasn't more of a challenge this time around.

Nexus: Still hate you all...

As I said in my own farewell message, you were probably one of
the only Sylvans that would actually come out of the woods from
time to time to try and whack me. It was neat fighting you. I
could easily tell I was fighting someone who routinely plays
evils just because of the sheer persistence. You almost got me
several times and dammit, Scion needs Invokers, not Sylvan!
Oh yeah, too bad nobody seemed to know where that room was in
the sewers =).

PS: Instead of deleting perhaps you coulda done some RP work to
be evil and keep your spells at the same time, other elves have
done it =).

I could have probably, I just had no interest in playing him anymore however. When fun becomes work, time to consider a new hobby...or at least a new character. The point of role-playing is to become another person, well, I like who I am, and it certainly fits more into the evil "do what I like, when I like, how I like". Not to mention it's been a long time since I played someone that needs to be a bit more defensive. Last invoker was the high arcanus back when the empire went through it's "cleansing". Got jipped out of my kinetic shield then too...still sore about that. And yes, damn good spot in the sewers you had, only thing I ever bothered to learn about the sewers was how to get to the underdark, and where to wait for people fleeing their guilds. Think you convinced me to learn a bit more however.

I could tell you were burnt out on Belarion. I think you did pretty well and might have grown into the character with time, but I do understand the reasons for your leaving. I enjoyed the fact that you were always willing to fight, regardless of the odds, although it did appear at times to have a suicidal aspect to it that belied your unhappiness with the role you were in. As far as quests and such, I generally have several of those running at any given time and it was nice to have someone with real strong area knowledge on the mortal end of things. Good luck with the next character.

You know, that time you intervened during one of my suicide phases is when it really dawned on me this just wasn't the character for me. But I figured I'd take your advice and rest a bit and relax, see what happened. In the six years I've been here that's the first time an imm ever just said to me, "Are you intentionally being an idiot?". Think that was the only thing that would have caught my attention there. On the bright side, at least you didn't have to devise a con quest for me eh?
