Well, I really need to get myself away from CF. I am starting a new job in January, and will no longer have the time to play. Also, I was starting to loose interest in this char, since it seems most the opposition of scion had dissappeared, and I enjoy being the underdog.
anyways on to the Farewells.
Intronan- You are by far, my favorite Immortal, I have interacted with you over countless characters, even fought you with one. You're stellar roleplaying, and willingness to interact with players made Panir one of my favorite chars of all time. I Wonder, did you like Panir's Role, and or his Roleplay? I know I kind of dropped the ball, towards the end, and I really wish I didnt have to leave.
Scions-
Trajeona- Panir had faith in you, and saw you as doing good things, I am sorry I could not stick about, and finish this out.
Anith- My Brother Raven of the chasm, I knew I could always rely on you for aide, or to simply speak about anything upon Panir's mind.
Aginal- You are a very impressive invoker, Panir Respected you're strength, and prowress.
Vortigern- I as a player, thought you sort of new to the game, Panir as a character, saw you as letting you're anger rule you, sometimes leading you to bigger mistakes, and more anger.
Lar- A competant warrior, I remember times when you and I would go out, and completely annihilate our opposition.
Virinahn- I hope you find you're protections, and that things go well for you, You seem like quite the adept Transmuter.
Dawn-
Esmi- I enjoyed our fights, and learned from them, I hope you did as well.
Sylvan
Sassmi- The bit of roleplaying I did with you, I enjoyed, I was hoping we could interract more, but oh well.
Battle
Guenrayn- you are the only one I see fit to mention, as you are the only one to ever have come after me solo, a True rager, Congratulations on that, there seems to be a lacking of those.
Other
Strodo- what ever happened to you?
well anyways, on to my Score, Role,Set, and past chars.

ROLE-
Your role is: Added Wed Oct 16 23:57:05 2002 at level 1: The heavy rains poured down, as Panir marched with the rest of the squad, made up of slaves, and several elven lieutenants. As they marched, Panir thought about the last twenty odd years of his life. How his village, of outcasts had been violently overrun by his new overbearing leaders.
Panir remembered the gory battle, as if it had taken place just recently. He remembered how men and women alike, had been cut down, defending the ramshackle houses they called home He remembered the young being gathered up, placed into Iron shackles, and marched to their new "home". Panir was but twenty years of age, when he endured that march. He and the other young were taken to the Elven city of Darsylon, where they would pay for their ancestors crimes, by working them off, so said they're captors. Panir had been lucky enough, to be chosen to serve as miltia, rather than as a kitchen scullion as many captured did. The elves had realized Panir's ability with blades, when he had been tested for any skills that he might possess. After years of service in the militia, elven regulars had come to trust, and respect Panir, for his prowress in Combat, and for his calm demeanor.
Panir pondering his past, held his hatred, and his contempt for his current captors at bay, while they marched, patrolling for any intruders. For the last twenty years, Panir had kept all of his innermost desires to himself, never allowing his captors to know his true intent. Panir beleived, that if he bided his time, the Raven would see to it, that he once again would have his chance to be free.
As they continued to march, Panir's mind drifted to memories of his father. His father, Maehdran had been his only mentor and provider in life, while he was young. Panir's mother had died giving birth to him, and so, Panir had never gotten to know her, aside from what his father had told him. Panir remembered the long walks, and hunts, he would accompany his father on when he was young, his father always the tutor, would talk about the "Raven" and his teachings often on their little outings. Once panir had grown to about the age of fifteen, His father then began to teach him the art of Combat, and their brief talks of the Raven, turned into Teachings. Maehdran taught Panir the Importance of patience, and skill. He also taught that it was up to everyone, to decide when their time to be released into the grip of the spirit world would come.
The Squad came to a sudden halt, they had reached a pass where rumor had it bandits had taken up residence, and were harassing caravans as they made their way to the elven city. The lieutenants were arguing amongst themselves over wether or not it should be investigated, as bandits did not really pose a threat to the safety of their capital city. Lieutenant Arcival argued that it was imperative that routes be free of threat, so that trade would not be interrupted. Eventually it was decided that scouts would be sent to estimate the size of the bandit party, and wether or not lives should be risked eliminating it. Lieutenant Arcival quickly volunteered himself for the job, and asked to be granted his choice of one of the militia to escort him. Excitement sprang up inside of Panir, he quickly stuffed it away as his father had taught him to stifle his emotions at a young age for emotions can quickly come to rule your thought, and be the death of you, so his father had said.
Lieutenant Arcival turned to appraise the group of militia, as he pondered his decision of his escort. His gaze quickly settled on Panir, for he indeed knew of Panir's ability, and his presentation in combat."Panir", Arcival spoke "You shal accompany me, let us be on our way.". Eyes betraying nothing, not even the slightest hint of anticipation, Panir stepped forward, and fell in behind the Lieutenant, as they made their way into the pass. "You know Panir, you may yet earn the right to your freedom." Arcival said quietly as they walked. "You have impressed me before, and I have heard good things said about you from nearly all of the regulars." He added. Panir marched silently Behind the Lieutenant biding his time. They had walked quite a ways into the pass now, Panir was almost sure they would be out of earshot of the rest of the squad. "You know, you truly are an odd one Panir, one would think you nearly free of your filthy heritage" Arcival said, and began to turn to face his young companion.
Panir was sure that now was the time, he forced all of his emotion from his being. He reached deep down into himself, summoning all of his strength and prowress from where he kept it whilst it was not needed, His mind focussed his muscles tensed, he was no longer a young Duergar accompanying his elven captor, He was Death.
Arcival completed his turn just in time to see the glint of light from the blade of the axe as it came down, neatly cleaving his head in half.
Panir did not waste much time, after sending Arcival into the sweet release of death, he wiped the blood from his axe. He knew that they would not search for him, or the Lieutenant without a larger force, so he would have pleanty of time for an escape, but, since he knew that time was against him, and his death ever so slowly comming to him, he steeled his will for what lay ahead and made with much haste to the east.

Fought you on a couple occassions, you didnt even know you were fighting me I guess.Never quite got hold of you with feinds and songs and such. The closest toetotoe was that time at the nightwalker. But that is how shamans are. Duergar shamans did not impress me much, until you came along. One guy who knew how to fight. No idea how long you playing and stuff, but you sure can play those shamans. You know who is rambling here.If you dont,it is the bard.Hehe.

That was a surprise to get up in the morning and see some Scions...Yes I am somewhat a newbie but you cannot say that I don't kick ass! And about the anger...it's because I seek victory everytime and when I fail I get angry or when others fail...anyway I thought you were good.

I liked your role a good bit. I kept trying to think of some way to incorporate your role into some sort of quest or something, but I just didn't have enough time. Excellent roleplay, you, perhaps more than any other, really understood what I expected from a Raven. You didn't just mouth the helpfile, you seemed to really understand what I was going for. Good job.

I always loved the fact, that you would not put up with pesky pk'rs in you're shrine.

You were a damn good shaman, good rp...everything. Our last talk I had no inkling that you were going to end it. Somewhat disappointing. However, new job, old girlfriend....you'll be back. They always come back.

We had some good times. Summon, cranial, wither, exam corpse - stopping every five kills for you to heal mana. You knew what you were doing. You'll be missed.

Unfortunate that recent events wasted some of your last playing hours.....when we could have been hunting or having some semblance of 'fun'. I hate logging on for a few hours of 'gaming' to spend them all stressed about policy things.....You were someone the Chasm could count on, and I didnt have to listen to any backbiting and ##### from you....if you had a problem with someone, you were upfront...
Nice charactor, and roleplay....Damn, Intronan is just too cool. We could form a new cabal with all his followers...*snicker*
Take care. (oh yeh...you will be back......)

I'll take your compliment and run with it. I'm old school rager to the core, and always have been. When I thought it was all going downhill I left for awhile, and played Old-school rager in other cabals (scion included). This probably got me killed a lot more than I needed to, but most of my chars are like that. I have a hard time shaking that, I'll do it myself, I can take anyone solo attitude, which, doesn't help an elf arcane muter, let me tell you. Though, that char helped me learn some reliance more than past ones. I loved playing a shaman, I will say that, and will probably do it again sometime. I bet I would have done well with Valg if I had kept up my roleplay when I had a scion shaman under him, lost interest though.
ah well, you were a solid char, the chasm will be lacking.

Believe it or not, I'm going to miss you. We had some great fights, and yes indeed I did learn a lot from them. I always knew when you were around, sooner or later it would come to us duking it out yet again. I'll miss that.

I looked to you as one of my main enemies, next to a certain arcane. You and you alone were my main worry with any confrontation. Shamans are just the bane of ragers, you eat us up and spit us out. If the wither and rot doesnt kill you, the plague energy drains and fatigures sure as hell do.
Even though I would cringe when you were comming for me I always looked forward to it. I made quiet a few mistakes when my normally battle hardended resolve gave way to panic... Can I really fight 4 at once ? hehe.
The couple of times that you killed me you always left something in my corpse. For that I grant you a immense ammount of respect, also to others who were with you. If you earned it I always granted you the respect of telling you that you fought well. So few people are unable to include these non rp/game play aspsects into the game, but it makes the world of a difference not only for who you grant it to but also yourself.
I know what your facing IRL, and I am also impressed with your determination and drive for it. I wish you the best of luck IRL and I hope I never see you again in a duergar shaman

Very well played. I remember you as you came up through the ranks, and never failed to send enemies in your range scattering.
It is truly a pity that you left for the political reasons. Although, you know, there could be a 'silver lining' to every situation...but...ah well.
In any case, be well, and see you in seven months...

I actually liked you the first time I met you, when you and Lar were in the battlefields and you asked me if you had to worry about an attack from me. I told you no, but your travelmate did. I saw you two in the room with the closed doors and figured you would try to summon me so I ran there instead and just about killed Lar and you never aided him. I figured maybe, just maybe, there was a Scion who I wouldn't be forced to fight. But as time went on, you wound up ganging me and so lost my chars respect (not that you would care about that from an IC standpoint). Ah well, good luck on your next char.
