Great character, thanks for not looting me that one time! Hope to see you come back with another character.

Had a lot of fun, but I burned out on the build about a hundred ours back. Stuck around for the people and because Empire was on a downswing pop wise, had a blast in that respects. I did enjoy things much more once I stopped caring about building a big weapon, just had no real motivation and after eating a couple of big loots back to back decided it was time to throw in the towel. I'll miss people because there were so many, but:
Morius: you are an awesome interactor. I was sad not to do more with religion - I kept meaning to but whenever I was logged in without major opposition it was a mad scramble to re gather preps/gold. Thanks for being great, you had a huge influence on the direction I took the character.
Nhinguehm: I have nothing bad to say about Nhingam. Funny because of the sticking point the character had with him IC, but you were awesome. Great character, very skilled, great attitude. Good luck. The sheer force multiplier you are for any team was pretty incredible to see and I had a blast whenever we could be on at the same time.
Varric: very deadly, very consistent. Our hours saddly didn't line up as much as I would like but the few times we got to fight/talk together I enjoyed a lot. I hope stuff works out.
Koulakzis: was sad to see you go - you were great to have around. Figured you'd be Emperor when that vote went down for sure, but I think everyone else thought so to and tried to avoid it. Thanks for the pointers though, helped a lot.
Nijee: your rp killed me, just great. Was tragic when you deleted, you were awesome.
Rastensol: noone owned me quite like you. Other stsf builds were kind of tough but noone was even remotely in your league. Fighting you at the council was like fighting other elves normally. Brutal char, loved our interactions. Very classy in victory - I never really worried about giving it a go against you because I knew I'd come back to my stuff. Not getting the kb in that gank broke my heart, I won't lie.
Thirisg: enjoyed our fights. We didn't talk that much but it was good times. You definitely had the upper hand on me most of the time. Dexy village warriors in general were hard since controls was how I got around that normally.
Oliopterix: I hate dealing with traps because of how long you have to sit around to shake off some of the effects, but you were fun to talk to. Had some fun fights too.
nelarik: spell evasion was my nemesis on this char. I never thought I'd want to deal with more berserkers, but it happened. You were actually really tough for me since I had to pray for the permalag or likely get distorted at which point I was done. I had a lot of fun with those.
Grasdraal: you're the reason the black sect is poor (not really but really). I must've spent so much gold on malice. Really liked you, fun conversations and good fights.
Ilyana: we had some fun talks. there was a lot of black humour from my side because of role context, which was fun to get to do in a non-obvious way.
Rizdyn: fun fights. You are tough.
Gillador: you're actually the reason I gave up on the big weapon which made the rest of this character much more fun for me, so thanks for that. I was sad when you deleted: I spent a lot of time trying to figure out a way to do better against you. I think the last fight we had was a bit of an improvement and I think I might have been able to put up a pretty decent one once I had controls, but hard to say.
Fugmata: thanks. I was sad to see you go, but you helped me out a ton.
Toughest build to fight: village stsf. Standard stsf I could usually just beatd down with controls and lag, and of course with excision the cutoff aspect loses its teeth in most situations.
Easiest build to fight: giant anything really. Controls and bloodlust made out-meleeing low dex stuff easy. Never got cold so giant marans were slightly harder, but not by much.
Biggest frustration with this char was the edge system. Two reasons: 1. The good AP edges have a lot of reqs, and more grinding as giant is misery (especially high mana spells like controls). 2. Not knowing how much the control gated edges cost meant I sat on a ton of edge points waiting for controls (then ended up deleting before grinding up the controls to the required level, so jokes on me). Picking spine was a mistake in hindsight as I never went back to spear/polearm, but it was great while I was.
Biggest mistake: not level sitting at 40. Most heros were still only worth one charge which I didn't expect. If I played this build again I would not level to hero without at least fire (probably cold because I was fortunate enough that there weren't a ton of Marans). I went straight to hero for edge points and because figuring more kills would be worth multiples, but neither worked out.
Random observations: - No spellcraft was way more significant than I anticipated. I probably would not have bothered with a lot of the maladicting spells as giant: I very rarely was able to land certain ones. - Limited barrier was easier to get than guildmaster barrier. I can't imagine playing this class without knowing and securing a monopoly. I think I did two barrier rods total, both with help (though I could have done the second one solo, it would have just taken forever). - Class really starts to do work once controls happen. Up until then I didn't feel I really had compelling answers to good people in dexy classes. - Sigil is fantastic.

Yeah, I had the edge in our fights. But, You were absolutely one of my favorites to get to know in character. I loved your RP. Thanks for sharing the story IC.
I can’t imagine how you felt losing that kill. I couldn’t help but chuckle myself. I saw him return and put up the blade barrier but already had the command entered.
I’m not sure if you know but one of those times at the council you very nearly had me. I actually think had you ice balled instead of tried to flee it would have ended it. Hindsight though. I’ve had stuff like that happen to me a ton.
I thought one of those times you were gotta get me with the cleave. Maybe had you kept trying instead of deleting! Haha.
Glad it was fun for you!

You were easily my favorite enemy and I had a lot of respect for you IC as well which I hope shined through. There were a couple times we were on the same side in fights which made me wish I'd rolled duergar Empire instead. Good luck with the next.
(and thank you for your gold contributions to the Galadon economy)

I had a great time fighting you. It did always feel like you were on the ropes vs me & tbh other dex builds as well. Super happy we went as long as you did. It was very clear to see the development of your character & your understanding of the class grow. Glwyn!

Will miss you Togun.
When you hitted hero ranks, i tought, this guy is pretty newbie. Then, you started showing up and I am sure you were newbie only to the class, which was evident your improvement over the course of Togun's life. Well done.
The think i liked most, was that you were always up to anything, raid, hunt, gather equipment explore. Great company, nice role play, classy on bad times.
Thanks for the time around. Hope to see you in the fields soon. GlWYN.

I figured you were new to the class when you kept trying to sleep me our first several encounters. I don’t know if any of your allies filled you in but tower of iron will makes me immune to pretty much all of your spells but damage ones(and it reduces the damage of those). I liked that when one thing wasn’t working you switched it up and tried new things and you certainly progressed. Controls would have helped a lot in getting past aural sword defenses.
Not to break your heart but I was considering going in soft against you just to see how many charges I was worth before deleting but the full loot made up my mind to pull the trigger and try something new in my last few months before the baby comes.
Good luck with your next!

You took risks. You were aggressive. Although you only got me the one time, I knew that a mistake on my part or a bad rng round and I would be in trouble.
Your approach is a great way to gain controls and is a lot more fun for everyone than to play CF like a golfer and always play it safe. What's more, if word gets out you have a big weapon or that you are always wrapped in barrier, it gets harder to get a fight.
I look forward to your next character!

I knew the writing was on the wall when you were using a certain something despite myself making warning of it.
I think there may have been 2-3 other rage deletes but you kept coming back, this one tho seemed tho unfortunately final.
While we didnt fight together that often the times we did were bash-tastic!
GLWYN!

Yeah, I knew about a week before the delete happened that next time I ate a big loot I'd be done, so figured I'd have fun with that item in the meantime. Totally worth it.
Just one other rage delete pretty early on, when I lost my first weapon. I came back because I realised I'd been having fun before having a decent weapon too, so it wasn't actually a big deal.
