All your things were left for you even though a lowbie potential looter was near.

Druid orc is usually a one sided affair but sometimes it goes the orc's way instead of the druid's, especially if you take mundunugu to address your vulnerability to light.

There are other exits from the orc village. Check out the tunnels closely if you have not done it already. Or just quaff and sit in the village. At my level I can't easily fight you in there.
