You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

Dude!

While I admire the "Harder Charger" attitude it seemed like you just didn't get the idea that everyone just wanted you to chill out a bit and think before you acted. Asriel was concerned because you were to quick to anger. Orsil took it on himself to try to subtly push you in the right direction and to just be calm and easy. If you showed some self restraint I am sure things would have been different.

Also, if it situation is how it was explained to me, then writing a missive when you pledge is extremely common and in a place like the spire where order is king and following protocol is the action of the day then yes it is absolutely required and expected that you do it.

I am sorry things didn't work out, but even if Orsil was Provost he would have had a hard time inducting your character just based on the way Orsil is.

Anyway GLWYN!
