Empire is up against it at the moment. Truckloads of well coordinated enemies. Only the strong survive. I was hoping you would make it through the ranks.

Considered it. But I didn't see another spec and legacies making much difference against the people who'd been steamrolling me. Partly it was just bad play on my part; thinking I could stay a little longer than I actually could, but also I found myself fighting almost exclusively builds that I matched up poorly against.

Dunno if it would work as well for duergar but calming the tempest was a godsend for my Arial sword spec vs enemy hordes. Wrath in particular was less scary, and that was back when it was one round.

You were often a lone presence in the mid ranks but the hero rank empire just hit critical mass, there was a group of 6 yesterday causing havoc.
