Not only do people get pissy when they don't get Emperor, a lot of them get anath'd when the Emperor attains all THE POWER.

Also when I'm Emperor if I don't trust you you are getting demoted and I am promoting other people over you.

Just a lot of general shuffle until things settle in. You lose people sometimes and they are replaced by others.

Nope

Just half, you need the majority of votes after all so at least 2. And you can't vote for yourself so yeah... 2

Doesn't the emperor get to know what the count is? For example, one candidate got two votes, and the others got one each?
