I was really unprepared for the recent nerfs to familiar and changes to the wand system.

I think if you are going to make it so that sleeks are balanced you probably should have made the impossible wands easier to get instead of making the easy wands have mobs that kill you when you try to get them without any kind of warning.

I was hemorrhaging con like crazy and wouldn't have made it to hero, I knew the hard part was going to be the devils and I had just gotten them and hadn't even started the part where I con die to them yet.

I can't recall any changes to familiars in several years.

However 'fam murder' didn't used to have any lag and now it has several rounds to where if you try to explore or run past aggro mobs it dies. Yes that is a recent change.

One: phase door works for most aggro mobs even if you appear next to them.
Two: you sure the familiar didn't get bashed or something?

The first two deaths I had assumed it had been bashed or tripped, then I actually tested it after the third time and I noticed it hadn't been bashed or tripped or lagged in any way across multiple mobs.

It is a recent change to the mechanics of familiar. I've had two conjurers within the last year.

Maybe it came after whoever it was was saying they can get 15,000 explore with a level 17 conjurer and explore the underdark and teth azeleth fully. Who knows.
