Well, this character was an experiment to see how I would do with my first invoker. In general I liked it; I'm not really a mage player at all. Five path was much too easy, definitely would go at least six next time, and I never did find a single sleek, so that sucked.
The character got pretty tedious by the end, it seemed like there wasn't much going on at hero for Trib-Outlander, and never saw anything from any Trib imms.
Finally decided to pull the trigger after walking into the woods to retrieve the scales with no idea Foedett was there, only to die horribly. It would be nice if Tribs at least had a way to know what Outlanders were online. Neither Trib nor Outlander powers work particularly well (or at all for most Tribs) in their opponent's terrain, so the big difference really is that Outlanders always know who they are facing while Tribs frequently have to stumble in blind and hope they don't hit anything too ugly. Maybe make vigilance show camo? Wouldn't help in combat situations directly, since most Tribs can't have vigilance up outside the city, but at least would tell you who you might be walking in to.
I'm sure I'll be back with something else!

Tribs do have a harder time knowing, as every Outlander could be camouflaged in the forest. Most mages do have a chance with a single spell though. It is also possible for a ranger to be in Trib.
Outlander do often know, but not always. Many of them (including myself) have been surprised by hidden classes when raiding. It is a rarity, even if a current one, to have detect hidden in the cabal.
Still, I've publicly been for the tweaking of this dynamic but all in all it isn't a bad one.
On another note, I'm glad you mostly enjoyed your your first invoker.
