You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

Were you and Valazzo supposed to be brother and sister or something? I just noted the same lastname. (Also I might have gotten Valazzo's name wrong. )

I don't recall your roles.

I think I threw some names at a dark-elf name generator for ideas, and Malvae's among the combinations that popped up and I just liked the sound of it. First time I noticed Val had the same last-name, I did go hunting for him to interact. We had a brief interaction that was sort of fun trying to "figure out" why we would have had the same last name but totally no clue who each other were, but that's about it.

Flaws are brutal. That said, I loved playing this character. *sigh*

I think I had frail, unlucky, and...something else. Frail was totally awesome to work the RP around, and became involved in his being a necromancer (using vampiric touch and such to siphon off others' lifeforce to actually recover). Mechanically? F'n hell. You definitely feel the impact of resting constantly for move and I can't imagine playing any character w/o healing powers with that edge.

Frail flaw on an already frail build?

If I knew you had that I would just have gone for thiefsassinate instead of trying to PK you the usual way.
