Man, you actually seemed competent, and that tiger would've made things much more interesting. Anyway, just want to say, your rage delete can't be as bad as a terribly crippling bug where you have 400 less hp and mana than you should.

Without wands you get outmeleed by everything. EVERYTHING. Sure, it's got pounce, and that'll land you a PK or two, but rake is 10x better on bear, lion, and wolverine, and the damroll on everything else is higher than the tiger too. If it had a comparable damroll and no rake, sure...but otherwise it's just frustrating.

Before that you're kinda right about it being melee meat.

If you go defense/water/air as a major though, you'll have enlivens to help it be better defensively.
