You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Thanks pal.
I really enjoyed travelling with you and thanks for the time you gave my char. I learned a lot from you and got me to once again enjoy the game knowing their are people who are so willing to help newer players out.
With regards the character, it was my first attempt back after a long time out(years) and I sorta got stuck to know what to do with him next. It was mainly for helping me to learn the game again. Main thinking was mage is easy to regear/less important and don't mind being killed too much, very helpful identify spell and ofcourse duo to help explore some.
I could just prep up everyone else and get dragged around some nice places hoping to learn something and be remotely useful.
But I got tired not being able to do much after that and wasn't experienced enough to take advantage of their abilities.
