From the helpfile for Adapt, a new command for orcs starting this reboot:

"When an orc earns his 35th level, he begins to finally rise above the pitiful peons and sows that comprise the vast majority of the orc population. Only the strongest and most cunning of orcs are physically and cognitively capable of attaining such a status admits a life of such cruel brutality. In order to continue to survive in this atmosphere of fierce and savage competition, an orc must begin to adapt to new challenges and various hardships. He must compensate for his age by adopting skills beyond simply the heavy-handed tactics of younger orcs, prove his worth to his chief by displaying particular cunning, and demonstrate that his abilities are intimidating enough to assure that the ever-greater number of orcs beneath him continue to possess ample motivation to submit.

These specialized skills to which the strongest of orcs adapt are, however, carefully-watched secrets. It is said that a clan chief is capable of denying this knowledge to an orc that he deems as weak, worthless, or disobedient.

Specifically under berserker.classes, so that those of us who can't play right now can more easily see the effect of this change?

Team Web has been prodded. For now, you can check helpfiles in the left margin's toolbar, beginning with ADAPT, MAMLAUK, MUNDUNUGU, SHIGRU, and SKRUGGA.

Thanks qal. Though I personally hate writing html code, I think that the hour that gets spent updating the website with new changes can really be appreciated by everyone... Particularly those of us just surfing the net when we should be working...

My favorite skill, PUNT! ha ha ha.

This should help a lot in the orc cabal-ish setting. It's too bad you never see more of that.

Thumbs up here. It all sounds really groovy. Especially the Mundunugu! Maybe you can incorporate the Galadon Coffin Shop in with 'gravesleep'...?

Damn me if this doesn't make me REALLY want to reactivate.
even with revealing what orc I was, but nope, not gonna.
*sigh*

I don't even care what the skills are, giving the ability to play different 'styles' of orcs is just awesome by concept alone.
3 cheers, but damn the timing!
hehe. Worse is I sat down and did another character, already worked out deacription and role, and it's one I can get into so I can't even bring myself to roll up another orc soon... tempting though.
I'm going to HAVE to see one day....
