AUBADE
Beyond the Shadow Peaks, the institution of bardic knowledge known as Aubade
rests amid the woodlands. The college exists singularly for students of music
and history and was, until recently, highly exclusive in who had access to its
grounds. Its headmistress, Threnody Vespertine, formerly of the Fortress of
Light, founded the college on the precepts of music, ardor, parity, and
nature. The college itself is surrounded by lush woodlands and its students
and staff maintain an impressive peach orchard. As the college's attendance
has grown, so has its reputation, and adventurers of all stripes are now
permitted to visit and study if they wish.
