Our system issues yesterday looked like we might have bad disk blocks. I've been knocked out of a commission by a hefty virus, but I was able to reboot the machine last night and that appeared to take care of the problem.

But it didn't.

I've rebooted again and taken some notes (this time slightly more alert) and will follow up with our provider if the problem persists.
