You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Murphy's law...I create a command to track our reboots & crashes and what happens...it just keeps crashing. ####!

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Cool command Z, seriously. What gave you the idea?

Cathoir's complaint about too many reboots actually. Digging through the logs to try and get the list seemed like the wrong way to go about it.

Having a command that tracks it, that mortals can use, will give a little accountability to the immortals that our uptime is something we care about. Perhaps even used as a little advertising tool. To generally give a sense of the current stability of the mud to everyone.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!
