Right now we're a bit stumped on why CF won't boot. I, personally, blame Cador.

I'm hoping that Big Z will have a Big Answer. I'll be continuing to try my own crude remedies, but don't hold out a lot of hope.

I have found the source of the problem, and temporarily fixed us...hopefully I can get it really fixed before we crash again (or the temporary fix holds for a bit)

Help files, thief guild, members command, and various other little things that were dependant on the database should all be working again.

So CF actually has an RDBMS backend? Yikes. I thought all that stuff was custom-coded into the CF app. Or do you use something like SQLite?

For some stuff we use a database, yes. MySQL

It's really not a neat update, it's a pain in our (Zulg and Daev's, really) behind. Suffice it to say that they've tried what they can think of, and we'll let you know when we have something to tell.

As far as my end, giving celery to the hamster definitely did not work.
