You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

#994, "Patrollers"

If you off hand disarm the dagger from a drow patroller they do not rewield. They may not even pick it up, but I am not sure.

Valg-san, spear-style:

You knock an adamantite dagger to the ground!
A dark-elf patroller has a few scratches.

Your pierce devastates a dark-elf patroller!
Your defensive spin deflects a dark-elf patroller's slash.
Your defensive spin deflects a dark-elf patroller's slash.
You parry a dark-elf patroller's slash.
A dark-elf patroller has a few scratches.

A dark-elf patroller dual wields an adamantite dagger.

I'm guessing the patroller in question was blind, kotegaeshied, or otherwise unable to grab and dual wield the item in question. You don't see the 'get' because the patroller, being a dark-elf, sneaks even in combat.
