You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

You can't see a thing!
Someone's kicked dirt misses you.

that does the same thing for bash, trip, and many others. It shows as a miss yet it still works. Is that intended or perhaps a bug?

Your super 'dillo damage reduction brings the damage down to 0, but you still get the affects.

I mean, I suppose we could fix it so you always take the 1 point of damage to get scratched, but I think 'dillo's cool as is.

Or the super 'dillo damage reduction could just negatate being blinded by dirt! Muahaha!

Your dirt kick is too ineffective to blind an armadillo!

One of these two things would be a much bigger pain in the ass to code. Guess which I'd pick.
