conjie hero 'a' sitting in room. see's me enter' shuts door, attacks mob, lets angel wrath all, and I die. I lose exp. this is a bug right?

A log would help a lot.

Odds are, not a bug. This code is pretty well established and most likely your situation fell into the subset where that should happen.
