If you "scan all" when blind you get six different "You can't see a thing!" messages, one for each direction. Seems a little redundant.

You're scanning in six different directions, and yes indeed, you can't see a thing in any one of them. We're not going to rewrite the scan code - just don't be a glutton for punishment and remember not to try to scan if you're blind.
