Someone deflects your slash with its shield.
You parry someone's divine power.
Someone spits a glob of slime aimed at your face!
You are blinded by the glob of slime!
Someone is convulsing on the ground.

You close your eyes and concentrate for a moment.
You can see again.
Your vision returns!

If you mean that having dirt in your eyes didn't protect you from the glob o' slime, that's working as intended.

Being able to cure the physical problem of having a glob o' slime on your face is up for grabs. I'll talk it over with the team and see if we adjust that.
