#6779, "Barovia's girdle of strength"


          

I recently went and got one and in the process the mob poisoned me so I was down to 17 str. Once I took the girdle I tried putting it on. The giant strength spell did not kick in, nor did the belt give me any +str, I was still on 17. So I thought it might be a nomagic room and tried it in different places, still did nothing.

The imm I spoke to told me to put it here. Thanks.

The belt only grants strength under certain conditions, and you do not meet those conditions.
