You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

You dodge Opponent's cut.
Opponent dodges your wrath.
Using her shield, Opponent turns your brilliant radiance aside.
Opponent is in perfect health.

You manage to roll out of Opponent's throw.
Opponent is in perfect health.

Opponent grabs hold of your wrist and twists it violently!
With a sickening crunch, Opponent applies kotegaeshi to your wrist!
You can no longer find the strength to wield your cool weapon.
Opponent's kotegaeshi DISMEMBERS you!
Opponent is in perfect health.

By rolling out if her throw, I evaded her manouvre. I think that would mean that she succeeded at doing the action required to throw me and therefore should be lagged as normal. Especially considering that such a manouvre that has all of a sudden has become obsolete may likely throw you off balance.

Perhaps in this case, throw failure should have 2 round lag?

Newbie assassins who don't know better are disadvantaged enough by missing a command, methinks.
