You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

Hurl torso and impale evidently cause the same bleeding, so you lose the use of one.

Meaning, if I hurl torso at someone, and then I impale them, there is only one bleeding affect.

For example:

I hamstring someone, I artery, I hurl torso, then I impale.

When the tick comes, they are only bleeding three times, instead of four. The impale and hurl torso bleeding are being treated the same, so you lose the effect.

But they do not have the same duration or -str and -dex. If you do both, do you get the benefit of the longer duration and greater maledictions?

Only a handful of the dagger skills use seperate bleeding timers. Hurl is not one of them. All the other bleeding skills in the game are the exact same way. I'll leave it up to you to answer your question.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!
