This happens all the time. I begin a fight with the lemur and it just walks away, even though combat is initiated. This time it was energy drain. It's happened with other sups.

You narrow your eyes and glare in a sifaka lemur's direction.
You try to commune a supplication onto a sifaka lemur but she is gone as you start to focus on her.

A sifaka lemur leaves north.
