You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

<blah> l spider
The spider is made out of black wood and at the head is removable. Upon closer
examination you realize that the black liquid that seeps onto the blade is
replenished through this opening.

A spider-hilted steel sword is a sword, made of steel, and weighs 18 pounds 0 ounces.

<blah> l spider-hilted
This steel sword seems odd in some way. The blade seems lighter then you would
expect. Upon closer examination you notice the hilt and pommel of the sword is
designed to resemble a spider with the legs of the spider acting as the pommel
and the body of the spider as the hilt of this blade. The ornate hilt makes the
sword heavy but is well balanced that someone wielding it would not have too
much trouble swinging the blade around. You realize then that the blade has
been hollowed with tiny pin pricks within the body of the blade and some
viscious black liquid seeps onto the blade.

<blah> wear spider-hilted
You do not have that item.

<blah> wear spider
You wield a spider-hilted steel sword.
A spider-hilted steel sword feels like a part of you!
