Well it's still happening, even after the thread here. Got poisoned by a chest north of the captain with the helm of brilliance. Then got poisoned by a chest south of that guy, and the duration of the poison doubled. Then I got poisoned when I opened up the altar of galadriel and it doubled yet again - up to 43 or so hours.

Should poison be stacking like that?

There is one set of chests that will stack poison. I have updated the echoes to reflect that.
