Unusual to say the least, these boots look like the actual foot of a lizard
with the rigid toes hollowed out but still attached. The boots' natural
padding has held up remarkably well and the scales along the sides of each
boot maintain some of their natural green, even through the layers of mud
clinging to them.

A pair of lizard skin boots is armor worn on the feet, made of skin, and weighs 3 pounds 4 ounces.

You stop using a pair of leather hindpaws with bone tipped claws.

Some footwear (and handwear) will fit paws or hands/feet, as implied by the description of the item.
