The barter code seems to be broken for empowerment classes. This poses a problem to any outlander wishing to practice. essentially the message you get from trying to practice is...

like that for a lot of skills

on a side note if you try to use an item that shares a name with a skill you get the message that you get if you just tried to practice without bartering.
