You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

You begin creeping in that direction.
The Plains of Eregion
Here along the southern edges of the plains, the holly hedge marks the
western and southern boundaries as it runs northwest and turns eastward.
The plains are covered with tall grasses which rustle with the movements of
various animals. The plains stretch out to the east and north while the
hedge blocks movement to the south and west. Some stones litter the plains
to the north.

The brush around you roars with the fury of several wildly blazing fires!

The mouth of a rocky gorge
You find yourself at the mouth of a rocky canyon. Far to the north you can
see the tall grasses of a vast plains, and to the south the gaping maw of a
gorge opens and winds through the mountains. The clear sky is eclipsed by
the shadows of the gorge, imbuing an ominous feel into the shadowed confines
of the gaping rocks. You can continue across the plains to the north, or
follow the winding gap towards the gorge.
