You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

appraise (item)
______________
This money, an (item) can be referred to as '(item)'.
It is worth 10000 copper, and is of the 1st level of power.
It is made of leather and weighs 1 pounds 0 ounces.

So my question is...how does one use this? If it's money surely it must be worth something right? Do I have to sell it?

You can sell them, but you'll end up paying a premium on it. If you drop it and pick it back up, it will mix in with your other currency. I'll look into how you got it without this happening.

This was a specific item, not generic coins. As an example, if you've ever done the newbie quest that takes you to several cities, you can see an item of this kind inside the pouch given to you.
