You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

Sometimes they go away but sometimes they dont. It seems like 50/50 odds. Everything looks normal and its impossible to tell until they just dont go away after 24 hours. They dont just stay too long, they dont go away at all even after 100 or more ticks.

Im guessing this probably shouldnt be possible:

*SNIP LOG*

It also happened with the XXX and XXXX from XXX and the XXX from the nXXXX. It happened on many different moon phases with and without herbalforage herbs.

*snip char deets*

Found it.

Ordering a mob to sit does it. Not kidding.

So I totally believe you because I got the chance to see you on with one of the mobs, and when I looked at the mob's fields it was missing one that should have been there.

But every time I test it it works fine.

SO! Help me find out what circumstance is causing it. I've spent a few hours on it with no luck so far. But if you can come up with any specific situations that differ for when they stay vs. leave, please let me know! There is *definitely* a bug.
