Nice echo, but no effect during trials.

It isn't one of the cheaper edges, but with the help of a partner and repeated tries, we have not seen any effect. Can you tell me what it is supposed to do, and if it -is- working as intended, what is it supposed to do, how often it should do it, and when will it not work?
