Should that have done something? It's entirely possible this thing just doesn't work the way I think it does. On a positive note, it also hasn't crashed anything since you did what you did.

If by mid-air you mean flying, I was most likely. If by mid-air you mean a room I need to be flying, no, it was either at the Vanquisher or right outside the cabal.

There is one case where you'll get the roar but not the consequences. I probably should have added another echo to demystify that one case, but I did not.

Oh, duh, and your target can save against the talisman. So, it may have been that simple.
