#22549, "Stormcalling bug?"

Syntax: cast stormcalling

Mariners out at sea care for the water and sky in equal measure, for what
storms above affects what churns below. Such it is that mariners are
especially proficient in weather magic, and out at sea can control the
weather with such ease that a storm can be called instantaneously. In these
conditions, random bolts of stormy wrath strike any who travel the oceanways,
save for those under the mariner's protection.

The bug is with the random bolts in that there are none. My understanding when the skill went in is that a storm would last for X hours and lightning would strike any in the area and do so often. I think it was fixed once because it used to 'yell' but no damage, now it at least does damage upon casting like a very weak call lightning.

Thank you, have a nice day.

I agree the helpfile is a bit misleading, so I'll update that at least.

Otherwise as it is, stormcalling is *not* over time lightning harassment.

It is a single big blast.

Could it be a bit more spiffy? Sure, I'll look at it at some point, but as this isn't a bug - marking it as such.
