Today I choose the edge Warrior Familiar. Went to fight creatures I'd been fighting for a while, and my familiar actually seemed to be much worse in combat then it was before. This is the quest familiar. Normally it would take blows that would bring it down to covered in wounds. This time, it died half way through the fight. Not sure if this is intend or what.

The boost is across the board (i.e., there is nothing special happening to quest familiars here), so I think this may have just been a fight gone bad.
