Darsylon Healer Guildguard is unaffected by controlled fireball, but with no echo to indicate what is happening. Log below, including successful use of another elemental spell (iceshards). Notice that I also get better at controlled a couple times.

Area spells generally skip town healers (NPCs that respond to the 'heal' command, like this one). This is largely to prevent disasters after people get recalled unexpectedly.

Controlled Fireball only produces an echo when it hits someone.
