How come you can't always see a PC's race when looking/scanning, i.e. "Bob the human is here"? In fact it seems that more often than not you just see "Bob is here", and I've found absolutely no rhyme or reason as to why it behaves like this...

So, shouldn't another PC's race always be apparent, when they are visible to you?

If you have brief mode activated, you do not see the PC race.

If you do not have brief mode activated, the PC race shows up.
