Barren Fields
The sky above you seems clenched in turmoil, dark shades of blue fading,
slowly, so slowly into a dry blackness that hangs over all, unaffected by
the occasional dry breeze. Around you is a gray landscape. North and east
the dusky land stretches on. To your west are the mountains, and to your
south the trail.

bramble-filled path.
