#2098, "ranger bug? re: serpent strike."


          

Scenario...
rank 30 ranger. Fighting a mob that is vuln fire. Wearing a sword that is "Searing bite" attack.


Normal attacks hit for "Massacre" to "***DEMOLISH***".

Yet, Serpent strike at 100% hits for "maims".


It seems to me, the "Serpent strike" damage is not taking into account the damage type of the weapon being used vs. vuln or resist of the thing being serpent struck.

Is this meant to be this way?
