#2076, "Arials wearing certain helms"

l helm
This full battle helm has been set with many gems, including three
particularily large rubies. Facing forward and to the left and right,
these prominent gems seem to throb in time with your pulse.

The helm of brilliance is armor worn on the head, made of mithril, and weighs 1 pounds 15 ounces.
<100%hp 100%m 100%mv 31tnl> 12 PM wi helm
You stop using a Templar's crown.
You would have to remove your faceware first.
<103%hp 101%m 100%mv 31tnl> 12 PM rem mask
You stop using a steel avian mask.
<103%hp 101%m 100%mv 31tnl> 1 PM wi helm
That will not fit your avian features.

This helm seems to cover both the face and head, since it asks me to remove those items, and it doesn't seem to be race-specific. Am I missing something here, or shouldn't it be wearable by arials?

From the description, it's a "full battle helm", which means it covers the whole head. From the 'wear' compatibility you know it is built to cover the whole head. From where you found it, you know it wasn't built for an arial originally.

Why would it fit an arial head, which has a much different shape?
