Hello,
I noticed "minor magical effects may be found in your travels" (baffle, unnerve, etc) will ALWAYS affect you if you use potion/scroll/wand containing one of them.
To illustrate:
You recite a scroll of fear. (on Sharasen)
Sharasen clutches at his head briefly, but his focus returns. (he resisted)
You recite a scroll of fear. (on myself)
A clatter of voices fills your head, and your concentration begins to slip. (I NEVER resist)
//I suspect these "effects" are marked as beneficial spells for some reason. And saving throw is bypassed.
