#20253, "cancellation success rate - WAI?"


          

I had a lower level shaman cast curse on me last night. I am level 40, he is level 39. I teleported and attempted to cancel the curse, 49 times. Used every point of mana I had and could regenerate in the 13 hours the curse was in effect. I have the attempt logged if it is helpful.

Is this WAI or is this an unintended consequence of some change made in the shaman paths? I can regularly cancel higher level afflictions cast by mobs, but since the path changes I find that maledictions from other players are much, much less likely to be effected.

To fill in a little more detail -- many affects can never ever be cancelled period.

Curse is no dispel... you need remove curse.
