You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. #19915, "Courageous Edge and Goblins"

Expected: You take the courageous edge and your wimpy is lowered, not as much as it would be with any other race, but still lowered.

Actual: After taking, it dropped wimpy to 83--looks like it would with any other race. After logging off/on, wimpy is returned to where it was before edge was taken, nullifying benefit of the edge completely.

The inherent cowardice of your race prevents the adjustment of your wimpy. See 'help wimpy' for more details.
Wimpy currently set to 366 hit points.
